Gorge Birth Weekend - Friday & Saturday, January 22 & 23
Tonight and tomorrow check out the Gorge Birth Weekend at Columbia Center for the Arts theatre in Hood River. Free viewing of the movie, The Business of Being Born Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm. Free workshops Saturday from 10am-7pm: birth story circle, childbirth choices, newborn news & baby planning.
Insitu Founder to Speak in Hood River on January 26, 2010
Insitu founder Tad McGeer will give a talk and slide presentation to the Columbia River Fellowship for Peace at its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 26, at 7:00 pm at the Hood River County Library meeting room. The public is invited to attend. McGeer, who is no longer affiliated with Insitu, will present a factual discussion of the history and technology of robotic aircraft development by the company in the Gorge.
