"J. Hammock & Associates has been a critical part of our success in designing, developing, and implementing our organizational development initiatives in Japan. Without their expert knowledge of business and cultural nuances encountered in an Asian market—and the practical assistance they provided—we most certainly would be light years behind in our business implementation. J. Hammock & Associates truly understand the meaning of strategic partnership!"

To whom it may concern,

I am writing a letter of reference on behalf of Mrs. Meggie Yamazaki.

I had the opportunity to conduct training ( the integration of Situational Leadership model and the Behavioral Profiles Assessment instrument-DiSC ) with her for Honda USA in Ohio. The participants were the managers and engineers of the company. I was very much impressed by her leadership
ability, her perceptiveness, and her intercultural communication skills.

She demonstrated tremendous ability to get all the participants actively involved in the learning activities and to facilitate their attainment of the necessary knowledge and skills.

She is not only bilingual but also bicultural. She contributed significantly to the training experience through her ability to identify some apparent business problems as basically cultural problems, and based on her understanding, she designed appropriate learning activities and execute them very effectively to solve problems. Overall, she clearly has the understanding, skills and experience to conduct training to develop the participants' cross-cultural problem solving skills, cultural awareness and sensitivity.

I am confident that she will do well as a cross-cultural trainer. I would like to recommend her most highly for the position she seeks.

Sincerely
yours,

Muneo Jay

Meggie:
GREAT SUCCESS! Nancy and I agreed that you were the "glue" that held us all together. Thanks for stepping in and talking "extra" about the food while our chef was finishing up. You really did an excellent job!

Thanks again,
Doug

To whom it may concern,

I have been working with Meggie for approximately four months on a project to introduce our product into the Japanese market. Our product is targeted toward the Japanese fishing and software industries. Meggie’s involvement required her to cope with a very steep learning curve to acquire in-depth understanding of our product components, and develop and understand the targeted distribution, marketing, and sales organizations in Japan. Meggie recently completed a trip to Japan where she met with select companies, high level managers, and decision-makers. Her expertise and capabilities in dealing with typically very difficult business interactions led to major commitments from the Japanese. To say that she completed her mission would be an understatement! Meggie brought together the right mix of Japanese sales, marketing and distribution people and companies. We will be meeting with Japanese representatives later this month, who are coming here for interviews and to complete negotiations. This kind of response is generally unheard of when dealing with Japan.

I can be available to discuss Meggie’s assignment in more detail, if you desire. Please do not hesitate to contact me anytime."

"J. Hammock & Associates has made a huge difference in the way I do business with Japan. It used to be a struggle to conduct business with the Japanese. Using J. Hammock & Associates as an intermediary has enabled me to do business much faster and with much less frustration. There were more than a few times when taking J. Hammock & Associates’ advice saved a deal I would have otherwise blown. And their connections in Japan have opened doors that I never even knew existed. It’s definitely made a difference in my bottom line."

"J. Hammock & Associates has enabled me to expand my business to the United States and Europe. Without their help, I would never have been able to conduct business outside my own country. I rely very much on J. Hammock & Associates for their help outside of Japan. My business has grown very much as a result of this relationship."
