Marketing in this day and age is truly global. Between email, negligible cost long distance phone, credit cards, and the Internet, there is no reason to avoid marketing yourself globally. One of my favorite clients is in Queensland, Australia, and it's no more difficult to communicate with him than any other of my clients. I just wait until late afternoon if I want to call him.

Many shopping carts and many CRM software (such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal) handle multiple languages with aplomb.
