Here’s why.

All too many domains are registered by a Webmaster on behalf of a client and are set up in that Webmaster’s account.    This is a problem.  Domain names are a very important corporate asset, and you need to be the owner of your own domain name.  I’ve seen all too many people lose their website because their Webmaster disappeared.  It really puts you in a bind.
